Is anyone else being driven mad by the little Google ad that now pops up just as you're signing in to LJ? You can't make keystrokes while it's organising itself. I'm quite a fast typist, running quite a fast system, and it means that 9 times out of 10 my username or password is missing more than one keystroke - in any event, it throws me out. Hmm, I can't say I've encountered that one. Are you running Firefox? Cause if so, you can install the AdBlockPlus addon and make most adds disappear.

No, I'm using Explorer, though the ads still come up in Firefox. More to the point, I just resent that LJ is allowing ads that interfere with our usage.

Something peculiar is going on, because I still have only the free account and I'm not getting any ads.

Raise some help with the LJ admins.

My only other thought is that I have it bookmarked and set to "remember me," so I don't have to log in each time. Have you tried that?
