I've had more than a few old ladys that came from there that I met at the mall. They were shopping in Potomac mills. Obviously life isnt all that bad for them since their not shopping in fucking goodwill.
I've lost count of the times Ive had people from New Orleans (or friends of people) come and ask me for a coupon book. Which they have always been free for people who come over 50 miles to begin with. but when I merely tell them thats the deal they feel insulted and think I should have some mercy on them when all I need to do is just glance and their drivers license and bam! they get their damn savings for 5 dollars off 50 dollars or more.

the people that travel to shop at that mall are people from the upper-middle to upper class who even if they lost everything they own could recover easy...the number of people who are financially able to do that is very small, the displaced poor and the people with nowhere else to go are the ones who need our help...these people want there homes back...FEMA has been slow to get them the trailers that were promised...these people have been told that they may not start rebuilding yet...these people live in tents...the only work really available is gutting houses...and that is a major health risk...check out this website...emergencycommunities.org...or just google pictures from waveland mississippi...take a look at what is still happening and do something
