Just returned from the first part of the new years eve festivities. Zikr, poetry, and dance at my friend Alima's studio. Read the Silk Worm during the Mevlevi Zikr. So many shinning souls. Many people asked about our next kirtan, which makes me even more eager to get back to doing monthly shows. I miss the energy.

Why I quit facebook

I am supposed to be working on my last sociology of the family paper, so this would be the traditional time to update. Feeling very cold these days temperature wise.
