It's really not fair that they give out A-'s, but not A+'s. I've got the same spread of grades--one A- in Socg of Work. Grarrrrr.

Next semester, girlie. We're doin' it.

they give out plusses for everything else. It seems unfair to penalize with an A- when you don't have a corrosponding reward at the top of the range. Either have the plusses and minuses or dont have them! Grrr. As usual, UMW has cooked up the most convoluted and stupid way of doing things.

hahaha... maybe you missed the part where I had a TWO POINT TWO EIGHT my first semester in college. I need these grades now if I expect to get into any kind of reputable law school. That means that after working my ass off, I now have a whopping (read sorely dissapointing) 3.55 cumulative. aka... not too good.

Honestly, I wish I had a 3.55 right now. I'm hovering around a 3.4 right now, and I'm hoping to look at reputable law schools as well.

Where are you looking at?

I've got my own list worked up that I'm going to share with you even if you don't want to know. I'm hoping to get at least a 167 on my LSAT (aka I refuse to take it until I can get that), but obviously better is better and I think I would pee my pants if I broke that 170 mark. With a 167, the places that I am hoping to apply to that I would have a reasonable shot at are: UT, Vandy, Notre Dame, UNC, Washington & Lee and BC. Place I'm not going to get into are UVa and Duke, but I'm applying anyways. Places where I'm thinking I'd be basically in (barring an LSAT tragedy) are Emory, William & Mary, Wake Forest and American.

This one girl who I go to school with wants to go to Columbia or NYU and is already taking the LSAT this summer. Why, I do not know.
