Peanut butter.
I. BLOODY. KNEW. IT!!!
OMG.
I love this show ridiculously. This is one of the best shows since Walkabout, seriously. I was shocked Charlie shot Ethan, for like half a second. After that, I totally cheered him on. I had wanted him to. When he was leaning all angsty-like against the tree watching the little group head into the forest, I was like "follow them, deliver the Charlie!smackdown on Ethan's ass!" and...Charlie went completely beyond that. High five to Charlie.
I think the writers keep Jin around just so there's someone to abuse. Seriously. That poor little Korean man has it hard! He don't speak-a da english, and he keeps getting beat up. Michael, Ethan, etc., etc.
As great a bad guy Ethan was, I'm glad what happened, happened. I don't really see any other way for Charlie to get past all the emotions he was facing. You couldn't have expected him to take the incredibly high road and not touch Ethan. I'd have killed that man too, probably in a much more violent way. But then...I have rage issues. And he's right, Ethan wouldn't have told us anything, and had he, it would have sucked out a lot of the fun of LOST. Who really just wants to hear the bad guy spill out his reasons for wanting Claire and her baby, and where he comes from, who he's with, blah blah blah. Wouldn't leave much room for anything else, would it?
And I love, love, love LOVE Chair. (
shiremint's new ship name. xD) I'm a bit sad that I've heard it's coming to standstill/stop? It's not just going to DIE is it? They wouldn't do that to us! They just have to start over, that's all. I'm sure Charlie's going be dealing with the repercussions of murdering Ethan, and Claire is still catching up on things and dealing with her pregnancy...so, yeah, a hold sounds plausible, but not to just kill it completely! I'll have to pull an Ethan on a one, JJ Abrams, if it does go that way.
And may I just say, that water looks good on Dom. Very, very good. As does crazy. *nods*
RIP Steve Scott. I got you guys mixed up too.
I think Outlaws is the next one? Yes? No? Meh.
Next week's episode....I'm about to place a bet at
lost_gambling on it right now, actually..
Sawyer and Jack find out how their past links them together. Sawyer's gonna lay the Sawyer!smackdown on Jack because it has something to do with their parents. I KNOW it. At least...that's my theory.
And, as much as I dislike Kate...I would really, really rather see her with Sawyer than with Jack. She's less boring with Sawyer.
I went on a LOST icon-making frenzy tonight, but I'm going to wait until I have a good batch before posting them up.
