I thought tonight's episode (Outlaws) was kind of boring, when compared to last week's (Homecoming.) But I don't think it was a waste. I still enjoyed it just for the fact that it was a new LOST episode...and it didn't involve a lot of Jack. I just think it lacked excitement.
Of course, I'm one of the many that like Sawyer, and
I will be terribly sad if he dies. I like the dynamic he brings to the show. Anyway, my attention was kept, at least.
Kate....I don't like. Where did she learn how to track BOAR? And why can't Saywer, if it's some hardcore criminal thing? Is Kate more hardcore than Sawyer? Methinks not.
I feel sorry for Sawyer. He's messed up.
And this episode completely solidifies Locke's position as Creepiest Old Man Ever. At least Sawyer had the decency to look freaked out when he started talking about Jeannie, while Kate just looked....Kate-ish.
I'll bet Charlie starts having issues soon. I mean, he's just kicked drugs, he was hung from a tree, his one twu wuv was kidnapped and now she doesn't remember, AND he shot a man 5 times in the chest. If he doesn't have some serious issues after all that, I'll have to frown and suggest that perhaps he's getting to be a bit Gary Stu-ish.
I think the interaction between Sayid and Sawyer was good. I love how Sayid was obviously being entertained. I really like his character,
and OMGWTFwhispers?! Does anyone know what they were saying? I didn't catch it all. Geez.
I KNEW Sawyer had something to do with Jack's dad. I knew they were connected somehow. It's so great to be right.
I hate that Charlie snubbed Claire the way he did at first. Way to be nice to your one twu wuv, Charlie! No one else talks to the poor girl, you could have at least humoured her. But, it leads me back to the fact that Charlie is going to have some serious issues from here on out.
OMGWTF Ethan was breathing? *sighs* Which, of course, could have been the wind moving the bag or whatever, OR it could have actually been the actor breathing because, let's face it, the shot was really close to him and he is, in fact, alive and needs to breathe. But still...they should have done something about it if it doesn't mean that Ethan T-2000 is actually, somehow, actually alive.
I hate Kate. Jack is mildly irritating. I just love the Kack girlfriend comment from Sawyer. *gags* And Jack's total lack of a sense of humour when Sawyer came to return the gun. *huffs*
I like Sawyer. I don't care what anyone says. I like him. Not because he's Teh Dimples or because Josh Holloway attended UGA for a year....I just like the character. I like how he's an asshat, but he's also vulnerable at times. *shrugs* I like him.
Yay for Charlie redeeming himself with Claire after Sayid's little peptalky thing. He helped her up, was sweet about it, she nearly declined to go for a walk, but said yes because she's drowning in loneliness and...of course, it's Charlie. It was yay.
Next week's episode should be more exciting. There's going to be
gratitous Jin violence, flashbacks in Korean, and FIRE! Woohoo. I wonder which four would have been the ones to go on the raft? Michael, Walt, Vincent, annnnnd....? Or does Vincent not count? I bet Jack tries to get he and Kate on it. Or Sawyer tries to wheel and deal himself onto it. Oooh, I bet there's going to be lots o' fighting over it.
Meeh.
