Out with the whooshing of the breath and in with the thankfulness. Mom is home now, after bouts with blood infections, low heart rates, acute kidney failure, various other infections, low blood pressure and other things I can't think of right now. She has almost no memory of most of her stay in the hospital, which might be considered a good thing ( Read more... )

Oh honey, you're wearing yourself out. I'm so sorry you have all this going on, but wow what a force you are, what a blessing to your mom and uncle. I hope you find a little time to relax and spend on yourself. You deserve it, and remember, you can't be much good to anyone else if you aren't good to yourself.

Glad to hear your mom is able to begin recovering now and I'm sorry about your uncle.

I hope you can find a moment over the next week to give yourself a breather and just recognize how much you must mean to your family.
