If I recall, most Europeans consider Canadians "Americans", as well as Mexican's, and sometimes South Americans, as it is all, technically "America". Of course, I've also been told that some Brits get offended when you call them "Europeans" so....

What would be really ironic is if you asked him what country she was from, and he said he didn't know, and green slime got poured all over him...

(Actually, that wouldn't be ironic, either... just funny.)
