Today was extremely productive. Woke up at 7, got out of the house by 8. Went to the town clerk to re-register my car, then to four different mechanics in search of a state inspection for said automobile...all stops were scheduling failures, but I did finally score an appointment for Friday at 1pm. Your new mechanic reminds me of the fabulous Mr. Donatelli, whose garage was an oasis of calmness, courtesy and cleanliness in a world full of noisy, rude and filthy mechanic shops. That's the only thing I miss about not living in MA -- Mr. D. can't do my state inspections any more.

lol, actually, the thought HAD occurred to me...it's another one of those "will i really EVER get around to making something fabulous with these?" quandaries....we'll see....

yay! glad the silliness arrived ok. the egg was the planter for a little bean that was emblazoned with the phrase "keep smiling". it grew, unfurled, got me smiling, then died. kinda poetic, that...
