Virgo much?

Hi, I'm a Leo, Virgo rising, Aries third house. My Leo makes me outgoing, fun, generous and loyal. The Aries lends unflinching emotion to nearly everything I am, say or do. BUT: as I get older, it's the surreptitious Virgo aspect that creeps in and takes over ( Read more... )

You are so VIrgo, girl! I'm not, despite Sun and 4 other planets in Virgo, Libra rising, Moon in Geminii. So, I have all these tidy thoughts, but seldom act on them.

LOL! Usually, my Leo-slovenliness keeps her in check, but during my menses, she RAGES!! She made me clean my desk and reorganize all my art supplies yesterday!! What a control-freak!

The To Do List entry "Call EP re: strip club?" reminded me of my initial plan for J's b-day. Turns out the nudity is appreciated but the industry is too exploitive, so we're headed someplace local.

Turns out I would have enjoyed the evening more pre-HRT anyways.

I used to think the industry was exploitive until, after extensive queries to strippers themselves, I realized that to these ladies, it's just a job...it's a con...It saddens me more to note that the women drawn to this line of work are GENERALLY from pasts of variant abuse...that they "empower" themselves with this variety of work is a bit sad, but then, current straight-male tastes being what they are only serve to fuel the fire...A lot of the ladies I've spoken with are students, moms, or simply lacking in whitecollar skills. That faction seems to use their sexuality less for some depraved attempt to validate themselves, and more to get them through school, get their kids into a better lifestyle, or, to buy a house with their husband ( ... )

I agree - not that I've discussed things with multiple strippers (but I know a bunch of women who have), but because it's a job. Sure, it's unorthodox. It's not exploiting the women's "need to be naked" (ridiculous) or using them for profit (they make a LOT of money) - it's expoiting the customer's "need to see strippers" and their willingness to pay for it.

I, for one, am a sucker for nude women. Exploit that fact, please.

My "need for strippers" has diminished of late anyways, but whatever. The look on J's face during her first lapdance would be worth it. Oh well.

Walpole, NH. I'm more expensive than a Merry-Maid, but cheaper than an efficiency expert ^_^ LOL!
I only get this way during my menses, really. The rest of the time, I'm cluttered, procrastinating and doing the bare minimum of organizing/cleaning. The Virgo in me seems to supercharge when I'm at my most feminine....*sigh*

Fantastic!

I love the idea of labeling the tops fo the spice jars and alphabetizing them- but then don't they need to be a uniform size so they can stack sideways, so you can see the labels? :)

I'm lucky: the bottom shelf of the cabinet where all the spices is kept happens to be short enough for my diminutive eyelevel to spy the tops conveniently...TDH was shown the development last night and he made the strangest expression! I asked him why he looked anxious/displeased, and he replied that "now the pressure is on for me to put them back exactly where I got them from." That he is not bound to put things like pots and pans back JUST SO makes this new development a challenge, LOL! To his credit, however, he has gotten SOOOO good at observing my motto, "A place for all things and all things in their place." Bless him and his patience, LOL!!
