So this weekend I will be meeting up with Aaron Douglas in Dallas! Here is where you come in, I need questions to ask him! So far the only questions I have come up with are completely non BSG related and are all about getting to know a fellow goalie. I would LOVE to know the drunk Jamie story!!! I would also like to know how the acting/working dynamic over the 4 years has changed between each actor. More specifically how the acting process has changed between each "power couple". Chief and Cally(Aaron and Niki), Helo and Sharon(Tahmoh and Grace), Lee and Kara(Jamie and Katee), etc.

Have a great time! I'm moving to Vancouver in August and would LOVE to run into Aaron at a Canucks game! :)

On the non-BSG front, ask him about filming Walking Tall with the Rock - he's got a good story about that. He's also got loads of stories about his son Taylor, and the one where Taylor actually wanted to come and watch him work filming BSG is very cute ( ... )

the Taylor stories were precious! I loved them so much from the online version that i asked him to retell them in person! Squeeee! lol

You get to meet Aaron?! Soooo jealous - congrats!

Let's see, a question for the Chief. I've always wondered how Aaron felt being the "common man" on the show. You know, not the "hotshot pilot" or "special" like that. Until the Cylon revelation, the Chief seemed like one of us. An everyday person doing the best he can. Obviously being a Cylon changes that, but how did he feel before? Did he wish he had more "large and grand" scenes or was he happy being the silent hero making sure things worked for the more "cliché' type heroes"? As such, did his previous feelings have any bearing on how he felt when he found out that the Chief is actually very much "special" by being one of the Final Five?

One more: I adored "Flight of the Phoenix". How did he feel when the Blackbird was lost?

And non-BSG related - I know from his t-shirts that he has some really good taste in rock music. On a purely selfish note (because I've always just been curious), is he a Metallica or a System of a Down fan?

it wont be on youtube, i hate that site because the video quality is shit but it is now up either on my LJ or the AD LJ!
