The Green Party senate candidate in Pennsylvania is almost entirely funded by the Republican Party. That's the race pitting Republican Senator Rick "Man-On-Dog" Santorum vs. Democrat Bob Casey. TPM did a follow up on this story and tracked down every donor to the PA Green Party. It turns out that, surprise, surprise, when I said the green party was "almost entirely funded by the Republican Party", I was understating things. Of $66,000 raised, $55,970 came from Republicans. The green party candidate threw his own party a lousy thirty bucks(!). Otherwise, no liberal donors (and that's assuming the Green party candidate even stands for what he claims).
