Yes, I thought it was quite entertaining. I'm not a snob about these things. It is fiction after all, not history. And there was plenty of eye candy to keep one entertained.
When we stop having crushes, that is the time to be worried, as it means we are dead inside.....
I rather like Aneurin Barnard as well, although I find Max Irons a bit too conventional for me. I enjoyed The White Queen a good deal more than I expected and am still reading history books about the period now (reminds me of my degree).
I liked Iwan Rheon in Misfits, so I would have known who he was! Do you know he's a musician too? I haven't seen him in Game of Thrones yet as I'm still a series behind (end of series 2) but I shall look forward to that! Did you see him in that rather awkward sitcom Vicious with Derek Jacobi and Serena?
I avoided that sitcom because, well, I hate sitcoms and that one looked dire, despite the stellar cast. Shame to miss Iwan though. He's evil but stunningly pretty in Game of Thrones. I didn't know he was a musician. Does he sing or play or compose?
Aneurin Barnard first caught my eye in 'We'll Take Manhatten' but I rather fell for him as Richard III. I agree Max Irons is rather obvious and not usually my type, but I did like him as Edward.
Yes Iwan is a composer and performer. If you type him into YouTube you should see some of his stuff. The sitcom wasn't dreadful but nowhere near as good as that cast deserved.
I saw We'll Take Manhattan too! Wish I'd seen him on stage winning his Olivier.
