My new baby cousin was born on July 21st. Due to scheduling conflicts I couldn't make it down to see him at the hospital, so my uncle sent me some adorable pictures!

Uncle Jim (my dad's little brother) with Lucas James
He was born in the morning and he weighed 7 pounds and was 19 1/2 inches long. He is totally a beckstrom. With the lips and the nose and the white blonde hair. Every single one of us cousins were born that way, except my brother and sister who took after my mom's side.
Okay, so in other news.....
I've been home from home hehe for about a week now. I was there the 12th-20th and Bob joined me on the 16th. We had some good fun. Didn't really do a whole lot, but managed to keep pretty busy. The day I got out there my mom took me to lunch at my favorite restaurant. We enjoyed a lovely lunch of a wrap and chicken tortilla soup. Oh it was yummy. That night we went to the Spring Mountain Ranch, enjoyed a lovely dinner of Capriottis and watched a lame play called Once Upon a Mattress. I laid in the pool a whole bunch while I was home, got a nice tan, that well, already faded away. The day Bob got out here him and I took the leftover Capriottis and went up to Red Rock Canyon and climbed around. It was wayyyy too hot. So we went to the willow springs picnic point and had a food fight. Then we came home and took a small nap. We got up, went to the grocery store and got stuff to make a huge dinner and it was quite delicious. We had this chicken alfredo linguini peppers garlic thing. And we made bacon wrapped garlic cloves for an appetizer and fruit tarts for desert and ceasar salad for umm salad. And then we were really full. The next day we took my sister up to Mt Charleston and ran around. It was so nice up there. Only 89 degrees and not a whole lot of humidity. We went home, got all prettied up, went to church and then had a party with the neighbors. Then we brought out the baby box. Side note. We were watching home movies. Extremely hilarious mind you. And one of the "episodes" had our old dog Lacey and our cousin's dog holly (both cousins as well) and are both full Bichon Frise's. Well, our new dog Beans, is a maltese poodle, went completely nuts every time Lacey and Holly were shown on the TV. We went to the strip on Monday. Like all day/night. It was brutal but fun. I don't know how people can be real tourists down there and walk around like that for a week. Amazing Margharitas for 99 cents at Westward Ho. Then tuesday we doubled with Shirley and her boyfriend. We made dinner at my house. Got her boyfriend Brian to eat fish again. Hahaha. It was yummy. My family also enjoyed it. Then we went and saw wedding crashers. Funniest movie ever. Wednesday we hung out with my sister and packed and my parents came home from work, my dad brought us to the airport where I cried for the next hour. Then I stayed at bob's til friday. We went to the drive in on thursday with Sean and Kristin and that was lotsa fun. Marshmallow fights suck. But bob had it in his ear. Then we sat in traffic for 6 hours to get up here to bemidji. Stopped in Akeley and Jeblovskis house. Discussed losers and eelpout. Goodtimes. Then I worked at 5:30am both sat and sun. But bob and I built stuff and cleaned and made dinner. And it was a good time.
Tonight I start gun safety. I'm scared. They'll fail me. They'll put a tattoo on my face that says no guns allowed. But hey, i'll get to go hunting this year. Kinda cool. I need to call my mom. bye.
