Our sympathy to you and Susan for your loss. Wakes always make me feel creepy because it is good to see people but I feel like I am SUPPOSED to be sad. Well the one thing I have learned about funerals in my life is that they are for the living to help them deal with their loss.

Even if you weren't that close, it still is hard to lose family members. I'm so sorry for Susan's and your loss. This is something I alway used to tell my daughter, "Remember that feelings are neither right or wrong, they just are." It's alright if you didn't feel all that sad about your Aunt Rose. It's a time to come together and reaffirm your family's love for one another.
