I've been MIA lately due to work. The summer course I'm teaching in a condensed grade 12 English, which means I'm teaching 110 hours of material in three weeks. Luckily, the end is in sight. God of Ghosts and Dreams is crack and I'm so happy to know I'll be getting a 'fix' real soon. Not looking forward to going 'cold turkey' with it though. I absolutely love this story so much. :) Summer courses are always more challenging. I can only speak from a student's pt. of view; but I can imagine how it is for teachers :) Good luck! :)

I'm glad you're loving the story so much. It was struggle writing it so I'm glad to be done with it soon, but at the same time I love the little universe I've created and it'll be tough to leave it behind.

Summer courses for teachers are exhausting. You feel like there's not enough time and you have parents and administration breathing down your neck, reminding you that if the kids fail it's your fault. There are certain type of kids who take summer school and they're not the failing type, usually.
