Thanks, Drams! I certainly needed that because last week was kind of ... depressing, not sure what word to choose.
But what's better than dancing and having a good time with friends? :)

Thank you so much, Lucky! *big hugs* You're so fabulous, and I'm so glad we got to meet when you were here! :-) I'm glad for you that you're back home, but I hope you get back this way again some day and we can meet up again.

I'm glad you had a good time at the party! There's nothing like a fantastic party with great friends to make things seem better, is there?

Yes, I had a great time, lovely lady! :D

P.S.: It always makes me laugh that in our wedding parties, some of the hit songs are for instance, "With a little respect", "YMCA", "Saturday's Night Fever", "Funkytown", I mean, a bunch of "new" songs *g*

Well that picture was for stellarmeadow but it made me smile too. :D

Up all night at a wedding party, huh, lady? Sounds like an excellent time! I agree, that's a great way to feel better. I need a party!

They look pretty, don't they? And John's shirt made me smile, it's quite stylish! And the red shirt suits Simon, though I was watching the Chicago pics and a t-shirt saying "Fuck me, it's my birthday" thrown by a fan seem to suit him as well (his pervy smile said it all!)
*big grin*

A party with friends would be great for you! It seems silly, but some hours of chatting, drinking and dancing or listening to music with people you like make wonders!

It really does. I'm looking forward to some hours of chatting, at least, in a few weeks. :)

Yay, so glad to hear that you had such a good time! It sounds like a great wedding party! :D

BTW, how's your garter ritual? I wonder if it's the same as in here (do you have the groom tie one too?)

Happy BD Stellar! Funny that you share your bd with a fellow DD fan that also lives in the DC area!

Oh darn, remind me I won't go to any wedding over there!!! Sounds total awful! I wouldn't like that either!

Here the bride's friends take her garter off and cut it into pieces. And the guys do the same with the groom's tie. Then they go around the tables selling the places and getting money for the couple. I prefer our version! Though lately seems to be not so much in use.

Thanks for telling me about the tie and the garter, it's so interesting to know about different things in other countries! Though I do prefer your version as well (however, it seems that our garter ritual is not as popular as before, yuuuuhuuuuuuuu!)
:)
