Why thank you. I like it because it's a lot less work than shaving. Of course if you screw it up and take off something you shouldn't have it's a lot more noticable as well.
I'll just have to get better at the whole trimming in straight lines part and I should be all set.
It's a little different when you're a carpenter. People just expect us to look enkempt and shabby.
I trim the moustache part, otherwise I keep playing with whatever parts I can play with using my tongue and the corners of my mouth. I don't mind that either but I can only imagine how it looks to other people.

Alternately, grow it out so long that you can braid it.

Well, I've never had a proper beard before and the face is still there but I definately had that thought as well.

I think I will get rid of the little horizontal stripe under the lower lip. It just doesn't grow in as well as the rest.
