You live in the north. If you shave it you may freeze to death this winter.

;)

Alternately, grow it out so long that you can braid it.

Hahahaha!

Well, I've never had a proper beard before and the face is still there but I definately had that thought as well.

I could totally let my hair get all oily and shit then let it hang down over my face with bones in my beard.

Now that would freak some folks out.

Apparently that is the general consensus.

I think I will get rid of the little horizontal stripe under the lower lip. It just doesn't grow in as well as the rest.

yeah, the most work I'd recommend is a trim and just keeping it very neat. Otherwise, I think it looks good :O

Why thank you. I like it because it's a lot less work than shaving. Of course if you screw it up and take off something you shouldn't have it's a lot more noticable as well.

I'll just have to get better at the whole trimming in straight lines part and I should be all set.

I say, keep some of it. Style it!

Keep some of it?

You mean like shave the right half and leave the left.

Maybe I could shave in different layers of stripes!

You hairy bastard... I have about the same amount.. only I can't stand the moustache part so I shave that...

You wouldn't believe the amount of crap I have gotten... including from my companies CEO and CFO...

It's a little different when you're a carpenter. People just expect us to look enkempt and shabby.

I trim the moustache part, otherwise I keep playing with whatever parts I can play with using my tongue and the corners of my mouth. I don't mind that either but I can only imagine how it looks to other people.
