shut down part 3

Oh, duh, I'm an idiot. Last week was my waiting week for unemployment, but I stupidly forgot to factor in that the payment I requested today covered THAT week, so no $ yet. Next Monday when I apply, I'll get some cash for this week. In the meantime, I'll still get a paycheck from my job at the end of the week for work I did in June. I realize ( Read more... )

man, that all sounds so insanely fun! i mean, not the gov't shut down part - that is obviously bullshit - but the rest is pure awesome.

We really have to make summer count here in MN!

Yeah, we have a whole stretch of a main drag in Minneapolis where there are about a billion little taco places. We must explore them all! The place we picked yesterday was a familiar one just because of proximity, convenient hours, and booze.

We were all going nuts trying to figure out smarter ways for Data to be utilized on the Enterprise, and meanwhile everyone's like, "Data, babysit this kid!" or "Data, go dump my boyfriend for me!"

Well, police and state troopers are still working, as are the courts. Not sure who in general is in charge of enforcement... those folks?

Ok, I just learned some add't details: the bars can't BUY more liquor without that license. So when they run out, no one will sell them more.
