travel suggestions

Hey guys! Anyone have any good ideas for some travel for me (and Dad and under-21 brother) for the time between Christmas and New Years? I want to go somewhere warmer than Minnesota, preferably a lot warmer. San Diego and New Orleans are out because I just went to SD and am going to NOLA in the near future. Possible ideas are L.A., Austin,

I second Austin. Never been myself, but it's on my list. I have many friends who absolutely RAVE about it.

LA could also be cool. My friend is visiting there right now and says it's 85-90 degrees every day and the food is off-the-hook awesome.

Either of those might be my top choice right now. I think that eating awesome food might be my top criteria!

if you decide on Los Angeles, let me know. I pretty much think the best parts of here are better than any other city. go to the beach! the deserts! the mountains! go see a random show being taped or an awesome museum. we have great botanical gardens and a thriving food scene. it's pretty much my favorite place on the planet.
