The Rakshasa are difficult to explain to one unfamiliar with the Vedas, though suffice to say they are yet another mortal enemy of mankind, and the Devas.

Angels, Oni, and now Rakshasa? I guess it's a good thing I'm not really religious, or I'd be getting worried.

Welcome to the base, I guess. Asuka Langley Soryu; I also beat up giant supernatural monsters for a living. I think I've seen a new pilot around, fangirling it up in the hangar. She's liable to still be hanging around there if you need her.
