Michael Jackson is dead. The shock has yet to wear off. Since yesterday at 7pm, I have been glued to the t.v. watching the hysteria that surround this pop icon death. Oh man being super broke has cut down my social life immensely. I’m saving money to attend national convention so that I won’t have to penny pinch or charge up my credit card. There’s nothing worse then going on vacation and having to watch your budget, and I don’t plan on starting that limitation on myself now ( Read more... )

Yesterday I attended a job seminar hosted by the school of social work. It was really awesome. In the morning we went over resume formalities, requirements in cover letters, examples of how to answer behavioral interview questions, and took time to write down 3 skills, 3 weakness, 3 areas of knowledge, and 3 accomplishments we’ve achieved related ( Read more... )

There was more partying last night at my friend’s graduation party. Margaritas, Mexican food, music, and games made for some great fun. Only awkward thing was her cousin who I used to date last year showed up and sat two seats away from me. We kind of ended on a weird note so I didn’t acknowledge him last night. So my friend got in yesterday and it was as though she had never left. We picked up right where we left off by going shopping and laughing about everything and anything.
