ooh, i took your advice (sort of), and it worked splendidly! a certain boy had a very shitty day (literally- the sewage main in his front yard broke and flooded his house) and he spent all day dealing with it, so a young lass (me!) snuck off to the diner and remembered his favorite sandwich- toasted club turkey with bacon and thousand island dressing and swiss cheese and lettuce + tomato- and brought it back so it would be waiting when he got there a few minutes later, because she figured he hadn't eaten all day.
