School hasn't even started yet and I'm majorly stressed out. I'm trying to figure out my CSET ordeal. I didn't pass world history, granted I didn't even study... So I decided to switch to English. But now I don't know if that's what I want to do! I feel so lost. Stressed. Confused. Stupid.

Just do whatever you have to do to pass a CSET and do your student teaching ASAP. You can get a supplemental credential by passing the CSET or taking CC classes in other courses if you want to be HQ'ed in other subjects. I had a terrible time with the CSET because I was told that I could get a waiver, and then at the last minute UCR told me I could not because I graduated in 2008 and not 2007. Because of this I missed my deadline and had to put my student teaching off for almost an entire year. It's really frustrating that even though I have a BA and an MA in literature, I still have to prove subject competency by taking a $200 test, but that's California for you. Just do what you have to do to get it over with so you can move on to the stress of finding an actual job and stop worrying about the credential itself. :)

That's really weird that they made you take the cset since your BA and MA both should've proved your competency... weird.
