Wednesday evening, I got polled on a major issue. No, seriously. Gallup called with some questions about quality of life, which  turned out to be largely background for -- surprise! -- the health care bill

I've been polled once, back when I was 18, although it was for a state not national poll, on the local Congressional election. As it happened, I was volunteering for the campaign of one of the candidates.

First question was: "Are you registered to vote?"

I had registered to vote earlier that day.
