To stop councils taking sports centres ans swimming pools at local levels. They create something good and take it way as they wish

This is a ridiculous state of affairs ,our community is growing by the day a new primary school has been built in the grounds where the sport center is located which itself is attached to senior school,it has been well attended and now they propose to close it. How short sighted the children will have to use a bus to go 17 to 18 miles to another pool when one perfectly good one is next door ,this is bureaucracy at its worst.
The community is fighting the decision ,but it should never have come to this.
