Why is this year going by so freaking fast? Sure I want the summer to hurry up and get here, but it's a double edged sword because I'm going to be turing 20+10 in May! Hang in there. Things will all fall into place. And congrats on your progress with that masters degree. I have like no motivation to start mine.
I don't want to get a masters in math or math ed because I think that'll be too hard! Most high school people get Type 75 which is an administration thing. That way they can become department chairs, deans, vice principals, principals, etc and earn a boatload of money. Before I started teaching I thought that's what I'd be interested in doing when I got tired of the exhausting teaching gig. However, I now really want to be a guidance counselor(probably more so than a math teacher). I briefly looked into that masters program and you have to do over 2000 clinical hours in guidance. How can I possibly be enrolled in a program like that AND teach at the same time. And I can't quit and expect my job back. It sorta sucks. Guess I'll end up with Type 75.
