Interesting article... relevant to my own situation.

Makes one wonder, though, to what end 'gap-filling' using DNA could be and will be used.... )

Wow, I read this several days ago and didn't have a chance to comment. It's understandable to me to research backgrounds and make a connection to a past that had seemed beyond you before, but I tend to agree with the researchers who warn against taking the info too much to heart. Still, it seems as if many are using this to find an identity all their own, escaping a stigma of slavery that will always hover in the background.

But how are you, Greg? Is it hot where you are? It's like walking on the sun here in ol' Texas! I can't wait for autumn! Now that we've got a house, I'm going to try planting pumpkins! :)

Am good, thanks. It's hot & humid... although, I'm moving myself in 1 week, back to CA, so my personal weather-situation is bound to improve. Unfortunately, though this means leaving my sister and nephew behind... and the pumpkins we've planted in the backyard! :oD ( ... )
