Heath Ledger is going to play the Joker in the next Batman movie. I swear that I did not just make that up.

I really like Heath as an actor, but WTF?

Read about that the other day on CBR. At first I was surprised but the more I think about it I can't really see anybody else as the Joker...except Nicholson but he's too old now. Anyway whoever the creators of Batman Begins cast I have confidence in. They completely surpassed my expectations with that movie and then some. I just bought it and I almost never buy dvds.

As jasonkd says, I too was surprised, but I have no reason to doubt the people who cast and made Batman Begins, so I'll bide my reaction until I can see the man play the part.
