maybe the hospital you are at will have better snacks, and maybe your midwife already suggested it, but ours had total crap for snacking. hospital food is predictably awful and i didnt want brian to leave my side for a snack run, so i packed a few things to sustain me thru late nite nursing or whatever. also i packed a small blanket for brian b/c the hospital was chilly and the blanket they give you is not the best. but maybe i was overthinking everything. anyway, those are my hints from heloise!

i didnt bring much, i dont think. i brought a nursing bra, a pair of pj bottoms for walking around, slippers, a pair of socks (brand new for ultimate weird indulgence), a pair of underwear, and i left the hospital in yoga pants and a large nursing friendly top. i was there for 3 days. the hospital gown was easy to nurse in so i never really took that off until i left. they gave me a few pairs of webbed underwear and pads, so i wore those until i got home. oh yeah i also brought a robe to wear over the hospital gown and pj bottoms so i could walk around the halls post surgery. then i brought toiletries etc but again, i knew i would be there for 3 days. i brought my own soap and washcloth and towel, i think i was just so allergic to anything hospital oriented that i wanted my own things around me.
