As such, the device is perked on a stump next to what looks to be the edge of something made from blue leather, and Cidriel is standing some feet away, nigh a third as tall as the tree itself, strong arms heaving a twin-bladed axe up to strike at the base of the tree again and again.

[ A pause for a breath. ] When I woke up here, I thought I was still speaking to others on a linkpearl. But it turned out that it was broken!
