but then i was in the front anyhow so i couldn't be a back seat driver even if i wanted to sometimes i annoy Stephania88 by giving her advice although she likes to see it as instructions hmmmm
You have Safeway stores in Australia?! I love Safeway stores. Keep up the good work with Ephant. I got my first drivers license at age 25. No one in my family ever encouraged me to drive a car. In fact, they all made me feel deficient in that area. So, when I found myself at 24 with no bus lines and a three month old baby and taking taxi's to the baby doctor. I signed up for an adult drivers training near my home. The man was a saint. He never batted an eye when I sailed through a red light. He gave me confidence. And I passed my drivers exam with flying colors. (much to my husbands surprise as he never encouraged me to drive either) It gave me such self confidence and I have since helped other women to drive. I once taught a neighbor immigrant from Taiwan to drive. And she became a very accomplished, safe driver.
i thought that Woolworths was an Australian company therefore it seemed obvious to me that we had Safeway in Australia
i found that being able to drive myself gave me so much freedom before i lived with ephant i was in an area of melbourne that was bad for public transport especially to and from the city so being able to drive places really helps also i feel you are right about the confidence thing i hope that i can help ephant gain some confidence and also more freedom also i would like to know that if for some reason in the future that if i need to be driven somewhere whilst i can't drive myself that the person i am living with can help me out
