So, I frequently stop by at the grocery store on my way home from work, thinking that I'll just pop in and grab a few odds and ends to revive the veggie drawer and fruit bowl. Since I am typically a bit hungry at 8 pm, though, that plan is almost invariably waylaid and I ALWAYS end up getting a great big enormous load of groceries to last the week

She's our non-fluffy, non-black cat. She's also really, really stupid, but she is "very bonded" to Alistair, so we keep her around.

Does your cat live up to that reputation that Calicos have for being a little bit catankarous?

Puck is far from stupid ... but yes, she is rather cantankerous. :) She can be a wonderfully sweet lap cat when she decides to be, though. And her purr is as loud as a jet engine.

Awww! I love how your cat coordinates with the background afghan! Combined with her spherical kitty configuration (you could practically enter her at bonsaikitten.com), it looks very much like she's trying to camouflauge herself against her background. Just a sofa cushion, move right along, nothing to see here. :) It's so cute when cats stick their noses under their tails. She's adorable!
