Just because I don't feel like working today...

Don't you think it's funny that all the while growing up our parents would always tell us "Don't sit so close to the television! You'll ruin your eyes." and now we sit within two feet of a computer, staring at the monitor ALL day long?

Are you kidding?! You should NEVER do that! They WILL ABSOLUTELY stay stuck like that. Don't do it!

I'm just trying to find more ways of getting out of work. I'm sure I can get some doctor write an excuse for me that reads, "Carrie's mother said she should not sit this close to a computer monitor for extended periods of time. Please make the necessary accommodations for her."
