They have the same problem in Japan actually. That's why many trains now have a separate car that's for women only.

Really?! Is it common anywhere else? I've ridden a couple of times, but I haven't heard of it until last year, when a friend of mine was in Hong Kong visiting relatives. She talked about it as I would talk about a mosquito problem. She would just be "swatting" here and there...
