Alias The Crack Pairing to End All Crack Pairings. And a product of nentari and my warped imaginations. Patricia, you participated in the conversation that led me to get the bunny for this drawing, so you have no one but yourself to blame ;p

Like with she_who_dares's drawing, this is the cookie you got for correctly guessing a challenge to one of my original fiction ( Read more... )

You definitely should check it out, especially if you like slash or really ugly guys in drag, like our Klinger ;)

*dies laughing* Oh my God, Hayley, this is absolutely perfect! And Klinger looks so wonderfully like himself - and I know from personal experience (having filled an entire sketchbook with doodles as a Christmas present for agentadvocate) that his nose is the trickiest thing to draw... And the devious look in Lavender's face is just great. (also, she looks uncannily like a girl I knew in highschool, who was very Lavender-ish)

Anyway, loveloveLOVE it!

I found his nose really difficult to draw as well until I figured out to sketch a triangle and then draw his nose over the top of it. We're meant to sketch shapes for the different part of the silhouette before we draw anyway, but I'm incredibly lazy about it and just want to get on drawing the picture - which is why some of my figures have crazy proportions.

And - and - I watched BOMBED last night! It was fantastic and lived up to all my expectations and even inspired a fic in which Margaret and Trapper meet a couple of years after returning stateside and talk about why they didn't happen, which I will finish and bang up once I get some time away from my relatives :) But yes, we must squee over Bombed some more once I get back.

I'm lazy when it comes to drawing shapes as well. I often get lucky with the results, but sometimes my proportions get all wonky.

And yay Bombed! That has got to be one of my all-time favourite episodes, due to the obvious and wonderful T/M-ness. (I also find it very interesting to watch side by side with the Hawkeye/Margaret episode, Comrades in Arms - not only does it show why H/M would be a disaster, but it shows that Margaret's personality is consistent throughout, even with all the personal growth she's suffered between seasons 3 and 6, and shows exactly what is the difference between Trapper and Hawkeye.
Anyway, back to the squeeing: the hug! The comforting! The sharing the same blanket! (well, she and Hawkeye shared a blanket in Aid Station, but still...) And best of all, Frank's jealousy and Margaret's strange silence when he asks how far they've gone. Squee!
