Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I loved this story the first time I saw it on ff.net, and immediately added it to my "favourites" list on there - and I still love it now! Hermione/Dean is such a refreshing change...

Thanks for re-reading! I wish there was more Dean/Hermione out there. It's certainly a nice alternative to all the ship wars involving Hermione ;)

Exactly! I mean, I enjoy R/Hr, but sometimes it gets to be a bit much. That's why I like reading some of the rarer pairings (the downside being that when I find one that I like, it's hard to find more of the same :( )

Plus, Dean seems like such an interesting character - we don't get to see too much interaction between the muggleborns of Hogwarts, although I'd imagine there would be some sense of camaraderie there. Poor guy kinda got the short end of the stick in HBP, I thought.

Thanks so much for your review! It amazes me that on FF.net this fic is still regularly getting comments from people. I do like Ron/Hermione, but Dean and Hermione is a cute alternative. I'd be interested in exploring friendship fics involving the two of them.
