This is cross-posted from my regular journal, lucy_lupin, so apologies to those who have seen it twice.

Ooh, that looks like fun. I think I'll have a go at writing a bio tonight and send it to you tomorrow with any luck. Just need to decide who to apply for - I'm thinking perhaps Lavender Brown, or another character we only know a little about, who loves to gossip. This'll be fun.

Will things be actually starting on the 18th, or is that when we'll know if we're accepted?

Yay! I think you'd make a great Lavender. I could also see you as one of the Hufflepuff girls, like Hannah or Susan.

It will be starting on the 18th, although I Headmistress McGonagall will probably be making a few announcements about FAQs in the community beforehand. And I'll be letting people know if they've been accepted pretty much as soon as I've looked at your bio and sample entry :)

Now you mention it, maybe Hannah would be a better idea. I mean, I'm more Hufflepuff than Gryffindor and she does her fair share of gossiping!

I'll head off and read some more and have a ponder.

Hmmm. I may have to reclaim my title as snarky Slytherin prince. :D But it'll be tomorrow at the earliest I can start on an application; am too tired at the moment. (Stupid work. :| )

Argh, don't you hate it when work gets in the way of real online life? ;p

And I haven't had any users interested in playing one of the Slytherin males yet, so a Draco would be great :)

Grr, my work is DEATH. *evil eye* And third shift? Is a total destroyer of all things normal, like sleep.

I used to play Draco at Out of the Fire, but gave him up because of RL obligations and dammit, I miss playing that snarky bastard. I had so much fun with him. Can you handle a severely-snarky-but-secretly-decent-and-decidedly-bisexual Draco? :D

Oh, I know. If I had a steady job, I would never start this RPG.

Both homosexual and heterosexual pairings are allowed in the RPG, and snark is what makes the world in all good RPGs go around ;) And Draco is actually on academic probation, but since the faculty decided that Dumbledore would have wanted him to have the opportunity to redeem himself, you could certainly work in the good-guy-but-not-nice-guy angle.

Something to bear in mind though is that Draco is the Slytherin Quidditch captain, so you'll need to make the odd community post regarding Quidditch tryouts and practices. In that way he is a bit more demanding than the characters who aren't head students, teachers, aurors etc. If you think he may be a bit too much of a time commitment, you could audition for one of the other Slytherins.
