Ah, happier days. I love your Arsefics, you know that.

I miss Undefeated Arsenal. Right now all they do is snipe at each other, talk to Cuntski on the sly and flirt with Barcelona.

Amazing what happens when with a small squad like ours, you lose two players from a crucial position and the rest realise they have no competition for places and can relax *poke*Gilberto*poke**poke*

No one is questioning the masculinity of someone like him. Well, maybe they do, but only inside their heads, where he cannot hear them.
Best. Quote. EVER. I nearly fell off my chair when I read it. Paddy sounds like something out of Lord of the Rings, I can almost picture him going, "...One Ring for the Dark Lord on his dark throne..." Haha.

And, oh my God, Pires/Henry!!! I fecking love that pairing. They're both so elegant and French and awesome, really. Squee. I love how Thierry's being all bitchy to Freddie, but can't bring himself to admit that he's digging Rob. And I love how people constantly refer to Pires as "Bob" or "Bobi." It's...hilarious. It really is ( ... )

Thank you. I like the idea of Henry/Pires but I find both of them so cute and sweet that there's not really any room for snark in a fic centred on them. Henry is a such a gentleman that I really enjoyed making him all jealous and acting like a petulant child in this one.

There is actually one out-and-out gay footballer in the premiership (I read an article about it, I can track it down if you like), but overall things to be pretty conversative. I wish it was a little more progressive - and not just because I'm a slasher!

Oh, this is marvellous! I don't normally read RPS/RPF but this was too gorgeous to pass up! :)) I love your portrayals of the characters; Henry/Pires is just so pretteh!

Thank you. I used to be against RPS on principle and have decided not to write it unless by request, but teh pretteh still manages to sway me :D I was reluctant to add Nina as I thought a female OC would have everyone screaming "Mary Sue!" But the fic just seemed to need a female character as a plot device and I didn't want to use any of the players' RL partners as that would just be wrong.
