OOC: Bragging
This is a purely OOC post about my RL grandfather, who just turned 95 yesterday. I am showing him off; people not interested may feel free to ignore this, it's behind the cut (with pictures) for a reason. :)
My grandfather is the main reason why I will be traveling end of September; he just turned 95, and he looks great. Mind you, he did give himself the mother and father of all black eyes the other week - I'm sharing my mother's e-mail and the pictures for those few who know me enough to know what a great influence he's been in the lives of everybody lucky enough to know him.
At last!! I finally got the darned things to attach. At 95, he's an inspiration to all of us who think we can't enjoy life to the max. Still no medications, bowling 3 times a week, working out at the gym. The only thing he has given up is billiards in the evenings but he said if they have a tournament again he might have to practice!
His black eye is just about gone. As he says, you should have seen what SHE looked like!!
