In this lesson we touched on how Men and Women relate differently to money when it comes to Emergency Funds/Saving, Shopping, and Financial Problems. We discussed Marriage and Money as well as Singles and Money, and Teaching your Kids about Money.

I'm pretty sure that I'm the "nerd".

Men tend to lose self-esteem in a financial fix if the money isn't there because to them money usually represents a "report card". They allow their self worth to be determined by how much money they have in the bank. If they can't provide for their family in a crisis, what good are they anywhere else?

Definitely can identify with this.
