[The question was innocent enough. His hiding place for now was being invaded, so an explanation was kind of in order. Unlike the man who was standing up against the wall and looking ready for a fight, Wataru was seated on the ground, his back against the wall, with his knees tucked up under his chin, a bat flapping just above his head. The bat muttered down to the lad, "Be careful, Wataru," before flying up a little higher.]
You're not crazy? I'm not crazy. If you are, I'll...
[He had nothing to bluff with, no weapon and not real abilities, so after looking about himself for something that might be threatening and finding none, he pointed up to the flapping bat as though it was supposed to scare the intruder. The bat only sighed, continuing to play look-out.]

When the coast was clear, Sam quickly squatted next to him, trying very hard not to glare. ] Sorry about that.

[Truth be told, he actually had the reflexes to block by putting his hands up in a sort of surrender. Why was everyone so tense in these sorts of situations? It's always best to be as calm as possible. He shifts a little, pointing back up to his bat.]
He's being the look-out. He didn't think you were a crazy person. I wanted to make sure.
[He sighs a little, pulling out his cell phone to reveal, yet again, no signal.]

She was slowly making her way down an alley and around a corner, her back up against the wall as she crept along. She could hear someone shuffling around on the other side, and worried that it would be one of the infected, she readied her gun and prepared to fire. She rounded the corner in an abrupt movement, and held her gun at the ready.]

[She sees who it is and lowers her weapon.]

Yeah, except I haven't been able to get a signal. Kinda the normal demonic funny business routine, with some zombies thrown in for the ride.
