California is very pretty. They scare you with threats of cancer everywhere you go, but it's nice. HOWEVER, I'm a Midwest girl. And I always will be. I heart Detroit.

California is VERY different from Michigan. Like leaps and bounds. I don't think I've ever seen so many granola shoppes and hybrid cars in my life ;)

They scare you with threats of cancer everywhere you go

Seems like there ought to be a sign walking out the airport door that says something like "Breathing our air could possibly cause cancer too"

But no one in the Lege would require that like they do on the restaurant signs that warn you about at least three different food/drink carcinogens.

Not to mention the one warning about the type of glass you might drink from.

Geez.

In the bathroom at the San Fran airport, there are these huge signs by the paper towels and toilet paper that read, "Use only what you REALLY NEED." I asked my hotel about this, and I guess there are these California laws about warning people on how everything in life will eventually kill them.
