So, Friday, and maybe Saturday, I am doing hair and makeup for
this ladyfor the Austin leg of her press tour.
Should be a fun job.
The downside, and I try not to bitch when I get work because it is sparse these days, is that I have to be at her hotel, and ready to go (meaning everything unpacked and airbrush ready and hot rollers hot) by 5am. Yes, that means me getting up at 4 am. She is going to be on a local morning show and then doing a speech at the Ann Richards School. She is a pretty lady so it should be an easy job.
Monday is another Enspire gig. I like working with those guys. Its not glamorous hair and makeup, usually just talking heads editorial stuff, but its predictable, normal hours, with nice people. Also, the actors are the working local type, so they are grateful for the work, instead of acting put upon every time they have to get out of their chair.

so yay for work, boo for getting up before the ass crack of dawn.
in other news-
I got my doc to give me a script for Zanex, to help me deal with the anxiety I get when things get busy. Yay. Boo on me for spilling several of my other drug when combining the new bottle with the old bottle.
Apparently my thyroid is under control with the med I am on, so that means a month of hormone testing. The new theory is that I am in perimenopause. Boo. Duh, we talked about that MONTHS ago, but now they are finally going to prove/disprove it. the downside is the testing is about $1000 and we have no ins. I think I am going to do the Peoples Pharmacy route, and do thier saliva test, its only about $300.
