I was looking through Youtube for one of Lon's Songs...I was in a real mood to hear "Sweet Babalon"; but instead I found this...Thelema is Dead. I had heard this was gonna be a magnum opus-esqe song by the Thelemic Rapper Scholar. His first (and only) song that I had heard was the hilarious and very clever "Lon Milo Duquette's Birthday Song" (

Very sad...letting go of local traditions and one's local body can be tough. Really a bummer though...he sure seemed a lot happier back when he was a Member. Having witnessed something similar to his shake up here in the Mid-West...it's just really sad.

(As an aside, #34 is one of my favorite episodes because it features an interview with Gordan Djurdjevic - who is a fantastic professor, studying occultism and India. I've had the pleasure of meeting Gordan at a couple OTO events - he is a lovely individual, as well as a very sharp scholar. And, of course, there's also a thought-provoking discussion with Keith418, which is always a boon.)

I love Thelema Coast to Coast and can't wait to listen to it tonight. Perhaps I will meet Gordan at NOTOCON this year; if he's there we will undoubtedly meet as we both share the pain of having our first name be "Gordon" (though as you can see, I spell mine with an "o")...trust me "Gordons" stick together :)

Now perhaps the two of you should get together and devise some way of turning me into a "Bronie"...I'm imagining a bevy of Sedo-hypnotic drugs and one of those contraptions to hold my eyes open (like in A Clockwork Orange). Lab coats and stockings anyone?
I can't imagine that I'd be that hard to turn...I already have some experience as a "Pony Boy" :) though I must admit that being publicly known as a "My Little Pony" fan is far more humiliating to me then being paraded naked in a club, dressed in leather like a show horse...which turns me on even more!
WHOA...I GOTTA GO TAKE A COLD SHOWER!
BTW: Who the fuck was Scholar and why was I talking about him.
