Damn you, kriserific.
When you walk in your front door, which room do you enter?
The Vestibule. It contains such lovely items including the Coat Hooks on the wall, a very small inefficient closet, a bike tire, and a hacksaw. I am a strange bird.

Do you have a dishwasher?
Never had one. Never will. Huge waste of money, and dishes are one chore I don't really mind.

Is your living room carpeted or does it have hardwood floors?
Hardwood floors. Always hardwood. Haven't had carpeting in an apartment of mine since I moved out of my mom's, and I don't plan on going back any time soon to that dustbunny festoon.

Do you keep your kitchen knives on the counter or in a drawer?
Drawer, with Pat's awesome knives in a carrying case under the sink.

House, apartment, duplex or trailer?
Apartment. Four floor, 16 apartment brownstone walk up. It's ugly on the outside and gorgeous inside. I love this apartment.

How many bedrooms is it?
2, but it's considered a 5.5 because of the ginormous living room / dining room area. Have I mentioned yet that I love this apartment? No?

Gas stove or electric?
Electric. We can't be perfect, can we? It's a damn good stove.

Do you have a yard?
Nope. We have a firescape in the kitchen and a balcony in the back with a BBQ. And a huge maple tree behind the building.

What size TV is in the living room?
24 inches. Living large!

Are your plates in the same cupboard as your cups?
Why the hell wouldn't they be?

Is there a coffee maker sitting on your kitchen counter?
No, cause our counters are kind of small. It's on the woodern trolley on wheels under the cabinets next to the toaster oven, regular toaster, and coffee grinder.

What room is your computer in?
Desktop: bedroom. Shitty ancient laptop: everywhere, mostly the living room.

Are there pictures hanging in your living room?
A few from my travels in Ireland. Going to make some prints from my Middle Eastern voyage soon, cause the walls are kind of bare.

Are there any themes found in your home?
Mess?

What kind of laundry detergent do you use?
Somethign biodegradable in a green bottle. I don't remember.

Do you use dryer sheets?
Yes, despite their toxicity. They are good smelling.

Do you have any curtains in your home?
Kitchen, my room, Pat's room. Mine are a lovely navy blue.

What color is your fridge?
Peasoup yellowish green. It's hideous. It matches the stove in hideous harmony and I kind of like their retro look.

Is your house clean?
Define clean... The communal spaces are cleanish and I go on cleaning rampages every now and then. My bedroom is a mess. The bathroom needs to be cleaned, but that is Pat's responsibility, since I clean the kitchen.

What room is the most neglected?
The bedrooms are both messy. I finally put away the Backpack on Saturday of last week so you can see some of my floor again.

Are the dishes in your sink/dishwasher clean or dirty?
Dirty. If they were clean, they would be in the cupboard, no? There's not much, yesterday's breakfast plate and a water glass. I'll do dishes tonight when I get home.

How long have you lived in your home?
Since June 1. You do the math, I can barely count to five.

Where did you live before?
An apartment in the Plateau. It reminded me a lot of Lucas cause we lived together there for a year before I moved out, and the landlord and I hated each other. We were communicating exclusively by registered letter by the time I moved out, and I took the bitch to court twice (and won both times). It was a huge highrise with a kickass rooftop view, and a swimming pool in the basement next to the niceish laundry room. I miss the closet space in that apartment, cause I had FOUR closets. But it was overpriced and quickly rising.

Do you have one of those fluffy toilet lid covers on your toilet?
Fuck no.

Do you have a scale anywhere in your house?
I think there's one in the bathroom. I don't use it.

How many mirrors are in your house?
3. Bathroom, a vanity in my room, and Pat has a full length mirror. I had one too, but it broke, so I use Pat's from time to time.

Look up. What do you see?
Ceiling fan that needs to be cleaned.

Do you have a garage?
No, but I have a parking spot by the dumpster!
