Some advice...don't let opportunities pass because you're feeling lazy. That's something I've done too often, and I have a lot of regrets about things I didn't try. ASMS may not be the school for you, but try praying about it, just in case. Its not hard to get recommendations, really, just a little effort, and I'm pretty sure you did fine on your ACT, too. Challenge yourself to experience the most you can, and let God lead you to the best education and life He can give you. Don't turn 20 and wonder what might have happened if you'd tried...try, and if you decide it isn't right for you, walk away knowing you did everything you could but that in the end you made an informed decision controling your own life.
Larissa, I know you're smart and creative and destined for great things, so whatever you do, don't sell yourself short. And I'm not arguing for ASMS neccessarily, just that you don't give up for any reason other than you know its not right for you, because that's the only thing that matters.
