If your mind is healthy, you can eat whatever you want and get/stay thin. But if you put negative thoughts into food that you put into your body, your body will store that fat/toxins and you'll never get thin. You have to take all negative attachments to food and stop thinking them! Truly stop attaching labels to food. Overweight people are that way because they are not mentally healthy. They aren't free. When I was in Sedona, I met a woman who told me that as soon as she realized the entanglements she had to objects and food and situations and stopped thinking negatively about them, she started losing weight. She didn't change her diet, she didn't think about food, she just ate what she wanted and she lost weight. This is happening to me now. I get it!!
The quicker you are in attaching verbal or mental labels to things, people. or situations, the more shallow and lifeless your reality becomes, and the more deadened you become to reality, the miracle of life that continuously unfolds within and around you. With the ego, cleverness may be gained, but wisdom is lost, and so are joy, love, creativity and aliveness (creating depression and illness). Humans are becoming imprisoned with their thoughts. (most of this is read from the amazing book "A New Earth" by Eckhart Tolle).
Learning all of this is precisely WHY I am so happy now. I've realized that my thoughts were holding me back from really being alive; happy. Once I changed my thoughts and released all of the mental attachments / entanglements I had to certain people and situations, my depression and anxiety disappeared. It is truly AMAZING. Now, I can have an argument with a friend and instead of entangling myself with them in a negative way, all I have to do is release it by not thinking negatively about it and all of a sudden, the argument no longer keeps me in an angry place. And amazingly, the other person senses this (because the universe is ONE energy) and no longer feels anger either. The situation or argument no longer exists. WOW right? I have so many examples from my life I could share on this subject!
I'm a changed person because I have found what true enlightenment is; how to obtain it. Anyone can do this. What you think about, is what you become and what you have in your life. If you don't want something, don't think about it. EASY. If you don't want illness...don't think about it, don't talk about it, and it will disappear. Laugh as much as you can, surround yourself with positive people and energy. Meditate to clear your mind of negativity by focusing on your breath (which is your life force), and you can rid your body and mind of any disease.
If you want money, think about having it, envision what you'll buy with it, FEEL the feelings of being wealthy, believe you have what you need and eventually you WILL have it. Most importantly, be grateful for what you have and give thanks when you get what you want.
If you don't want your/our world to have anger, bad health, poverty, or sadness - then don't watch the news, don't hang out with people who bring you down, focus on positive and attract GOOD into your life only. Laugh! Love everyone. Lift people UP and want / expect people to be good, instead of expecting the worst. See how much beauty is in this world. If you can see the world in a beautiful way, then our world will be beautiful. Plain and simple.
