You know, shortly after I finished writing House of Cards way back in 2006, I just happened to go into H. Samuels (a UK jewellery shop), a place I never go to……and guess what I find? The butterfly pendant! So of course I had to buy it (although I didn’t have to shell out the kind of money Remy did on it).

Coincidence or fate????

I have to say my vision of this pendent is almost spot on, it's crazy. The necklace itself is real pretty

I didn't even finish my comment and it just posted it! Crazy!

As I was saying, the necklace is so pretty, I would've bought it my self too even if 1) I hadn't wrote a story about a piece of jewelry that is uncanny to the one I spot in a shop and 2) if I could afford it..which you've done. Awesome. Lucky you.

Curious, how big is it?

I know, it's really pretty, right?! :)

It's about 2 cm across. Not small, not humongous. I've actually never worn it. Rogue's version is now chipped and scuffed, but I don't want mine to get that way! XD

Well I hope your not planning to scale buildings, leap and bound from place to place, run in the face danger, and fall into the arms of a cajun thief! Hmmmm... the last part is not a bad idea, the rest???? I might join you on the action and adventure... lol
Other than that the necklace would remain intact..

LOL! Well, I'm definitely not thinking of doing all the hardcore Mission Impossible type stuff... But you're right. I would make an exception for the Cajun thief part. I'm sure you and many other women would be quite happy to join in on the 'action and adventure' in that case... XD

I think it's terrific that you are - there's something uniquely satisfying about not only writing, but writing for people who love the same things (and will squee and cry right along with us).
