Geez guys, I just dreamt I was watching the new season of Doctor Who... you know, the one written by Steven Moffat. And it was kind of awesome, because I was dreaming the episode in bizarrely vivid detail. :D

I KNOW! I watched the very first episode, and man... was the first Doctor ever old and grouchy. haha Doctor Who is possibly one of the only shows where you can switch the main actor out over ten times, with over ten guys who look and act nothing alike, and nobody bats an eye at it. XD Makes production a whole lot easier when an actor has to leave. haha
Sometimes I wondered if those actors really wanted to leave. It probably has helped to keep the show alive as long as it has run. It's like a brand new show each time, just with a common thread.
I know the 9th Doctor (Christopher Eccleston) left after the first season, because he didn't want to get typecast. :D; Can't blame the guy either. The one playing the Doctor right now (David Tennant, 10th Doctor) really enjoys his role though. He ever cross-dressed for it. XD; It's fun to see how the different actors handle the role and the publicity that comes with it. But yeah, it IS almost a whole new show with each Doctor. Especially considering that it started airing in 1963, and was in black/white. XD; Actors change, technology changes, audiences change, etc.
If you want to write it out, GO RIGHT AHEAD. XD I have no ambitions for my crazy dream plot. (especially since I got to 'watch' the episode already. haha) XD;
Now if there's an episode like that in the new Who series, I will be kind of freaked out though. haha

Seriously. I'm so tempted to write it as fanfic or something. Hee!
